Due to the printing demands of one of my larger clients, about 6 years ago I explored the option of printing offshore. Although the initial introduction into the China printing market had its fair share of problems, eventually I established a solid relationship with a Guangzhou based printer Mr Jim Chen. Since then we have become not just business colleagues but great friends, Jim and I have joined forces in organising the print production of large format books for one of my larger Sydney based clients - Wisdom Homes.
Offshore printing can be very cost effective however most of the risk is in the "Quality Control" (QC) and unless you have someone trustworthy and efficient on the ground in China the savings in cost don't add up.
If you’re finding your printing demands aren’t falling inline with current marketing budgets and you’re interesting in exploring printing offshore then let’s connect, I’d be happy to discuss further.
